June 26 The Secrets of Mountain Rescue Dan Burnett will let you know what the real fun of Mountain Rescue is. The Summit County Rescue Group’s primary rescue truck will be displayed along with the equipment that makes exceptional rescues possible. The hour should be interesting for kids and adults from the vantage of mistakes you will not make once you hear the stories of actual rescues. The stories are told with humor and lessons learned by all emphasized. You can’t believe the ridiculous things people say when you get out of a helicopter to rescue them.
July 10 Science, Adventure, Fun: Campfire Fun presented by the Keystone Science School Do you wish sometimes that you could go back to camp? Fireflies, campfires, songs ans S'MORES? This presentation features on stage songs and skits that focus on Science, Adventure nad Fun! Learn, get excited, stomp your feet, clap your hands, and sing along with your entire family! Features S'Mores and audience participation.
July 17 Wild Flower Walk, Dillon Nature Preserve Join local wildflower expert Pat Taylor and discover the beauty of alpine wildflowers in the Dillon Nature Preserve. Meet at the Nature Preserve trailhead parking lot off of Highway 6 across from the Dillon Cemetery.

July 31 Tenderfoot Trail Hike Join local Tim Forsythe for a 2 mile hike along one of Summit County’s most scenic trails, the Tenderfoot Trail. Meet at Marina Park and then follow Tim (in your car) to the Tenderfoot Trailhead parking.
August 7 The Big Battle of the Little Beetle Naturalist Christiane Hinterman will discuss how the pine beetle belongs in this ecosystem and reasons they may have grown out of control, how something so small can make such a big impact and what the future holds for humans and the beetles. Presented by the Friends of the Dillon Ranger District.
August 14 Nature Preserve Hike Join local Tim Forsythe for an easy paced hike through the Dillon Nature Preserve. Meet at the Nature Preserve parking area across from the Dillon Cemetery off of Highway 6.
